Waipoint, a tech startup founded in Kirkland, Washington in January 2023 by Dave Stein and Haggai Goldfarb, operates in stealth mode with a focus on AI-driven Extended Reality (XR) solutions.

One of our key projects involves developing assistive technology for the visually impaired, providing them with a "second pair of eyes". The project, codenamed V.I.S.O.R.S., which stands for Visually Impaired Scene and Object Recognition System, utilizes advanced wearable technology coupled with an intelligent vision system to enhance the independence and accessibility of visually impaired individuals. This is achieved through next-gen spatial computation, encompassing functions such as scene understanding, indoor localization, and spatial mapping.
